Managing Products
First click on the products tab.
In this section you have 2 sections to choose from the first section is Current Products with the following headers:
Image
If you have added an image for this product then a thumbnail will display.
Title
This is the name of the product.
Code
If you use a code based system for your products this will be entered
Price
The price of the product.
Options
You have 3 options here the first is choices which allows you to add a choice to the product like e.g. Size or Colour. The next options are edit and delete.
You will notice an arrow next to some of the heading, this allows you to sort the list by clicking the heading you wish to sort by.
Your second option is Add Product.
This is separated into the following 4 sections:
Product Details
Category
This is the name of the category you want your product to go under. You will notice the sub categories in a slightly smaller and grey font type.
Product Title
This is the title of your product
Product Code
If you use a code based system for your products this will be entered here.
Product Price
The price of the product.
Product RRP
The RRP price of the product, if you have one.
Description
This is for you to enter information about the product.
Images
Image 1
This is for you main image of your product. Simple press browse and find the relevant image on your computer.
Image 2
This section is for a second image.
Image 3
This section is for a third image.
Search Engine Details
Meta Keywords
If you wish to add your own keywords then you can via this section but they will be auto generated for you if left empty.
Meta Description
If you wish to add your own description then you can via this section but they will be auto generated for you if left empty.
Product Options
Product Weight
Weight of the product.
VAT Exempt
If the product is VAT exempt then click this box.
Out of Stock
If the product is out of stock then click this box.
Active
If the product is discontinued but you may get back then click this box which will remove from the website but not from the database.
Free Postage
If the product is entitled to Free Postage then click this box.
Show Homepage
This will add the product to the homepage for maximum exposure.
