How to add a new page
To add a page to your website could not be simpler, on the navigation bar press Manage Pages.
When manage pages section loads, please press Add New Page.
From here you can enter the required information to add a page. For a detailed description on which details is needed for each field please see below:
Page Type
You have multiple selections for the page type which are seperated into:
Standard
A standard page is the normal choice when adding a page and has no extra features or information under the text. It simply displays the text you enter into the content box and nothing else.
Gallery
A gallery page allows you to add gallery images under the text on the page. To add gallery images on the page simply go to your gallery page and add from here.
Contact
The contact page type add's a contact form under the content on your page.
Page Name
The page name is a simply description on what the page is called e.g. contact us
Page Title
The page title is the title at the very top of your browser in the blue bar. A good page title would be descriptive desription around 70 characters about the content of the page. An example of this for a page called services would be "Engineering & Mechanical Services in Blackburn, Lancashire"
Meta Keywords
The meta keywords will be based on the content of the page your adding. If you are added a page called services your keywords would be based on your services e.g. "engine repair london, mot london, fuel pump essex" when adding your keyword it is a good idea to add the area you are based with your service. Also please make sure your keywords are comma seperated.
Meta Description
The meta description is a brief description that search engines to let users know about the page they are clicking on before they click. A good example of a correct meta description would be "We offer mortgages and advice from qualified mortgage advisors in Blackpool and Lancashire areas." Please make sure you only user 120 characters for optimal results.
Page Content
The page content is the section where you put the main content of the page. Simply click in the text area and start typing. You can alter the look of your text by using the buttons on the text area.
Once this has all been filled in simply press the Submit button and your page will be added to the website.
