CSS causing new waves in the web world
Although CSS is not something explicitly new it has only recently began to cause some ripples on the scene. Cascading Style Sheets were first introduced to the public in the 19997 W3C. Since then they have gradually worked their way up to establish a prominent place for themselves in the society.
Initially web developers and graphic designers were reluctant to accept CSS for a number of reasons. Firstly because to use CSS they would have to learn a totally new language and develop their skills and secondly because they believed that it was not possible to create complex designs using CSS. Time however proved these things wrong and the benefits of using CSS soon surfaced making it the number one choice to work with.
